Recently moved to Canada and am awaiting my permanent residency and nursing license to transfer. So I am going to start volunteering with Pediatric Hospice. I am grateful for this incredible opportunit, but also nervous because I know it's going to be challengin.

Welcome to Canada and welcome to the Discussion Forums. I am glad you found us. I hope you are finding your way around the Canadian Virtual Hospice site. There are lots of good resources. As you are planning to volunteer with a hospice program I wondered if there had been a chance to look at the mygrief resources?

Yes a new country and probably new ways of practice in some ways are both challenging. Did you work in hospice in the country you came from?
