Ridge Meadows Hospice Society

The Ridge Meadows Hospice Society is a non-profit organization that serves the communities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. We offer specially trained volunteers to provide compassionate, emotional care and support to individuals with a life-limiting illness, their family and friends, as well as at the time of death and through the journey of grief and bereavement.

Our free End-of-Life services and programs include, Hospice and Community Volunteers, One-to-one palliative support, along with many programs such as our Relaxation Circle and Caregiver support group.  Our free Bereavement services include one-to-one grief support, a walking group called “Healing Steps” and numerous Grief groups for adults and children.  Part of our role is to provide ongoing education for our community, to ensure that dying persons and their families experience this part of their life story in dignity and peace.
