Hospice House: Care in this comfortable home helps make a very difficult life passage more manageable and meaningful. A care-giving team of staff and volunteers provide 24 hour individualized physical, emotional and spiritual support to those with a palliative diagnosis. Referrals for admission to Hospice House may be made through Community Care Nursing, physicians, self, family or friends.
Grief and bereavement programs are offered for those who have experienced the death of someone significant in their lives. This service is available to anyone in the community – not just those who have experienced the death of a loved one at Hospice House. Services include one-on-one counselling, finding My Way Group support, and bereavement Follow-up volunteer support. |
