Alberta Health Services - Calgary Zone Palliative and Hospice Care Program offers supportive palliative care to terminally ill patients. Care is provided in a variety of settings; home, hospice, care centre or hospital. Besides symptom management, they provide psychosocial and spiritual support to assist with grief and bereavement. The team is comprised of palliative care physicians, clinical nurse specialists, social workers, spiritual care provider and other allied health care professionals (composition varies depending on location).This site has links to local hospices.
