Hello Roxy
I am sorry that I don’t speak French – although I am an Anglophone, and I was born in “la Belle Province”. (So thank you to Google Translator!)
I forgot all my French when I moved to Ontario at age 10. My daughter speaks French (and translates French to English) My two grandsons attend a French school (not immersion) – all French, all day.
Anyway, I ramble, but let me say that I am sorry to hear about your father. When I lost my father, I remember being so sad. Now when I think of him, a warm memory comes to me and I smile.
As a hospice volunteer, I have learned that not only can a person’s condition change up or down in a day, but sometimes it can change hourly.
When you do bring your father to hospice, you will find – not only the best medical professionals – but also warm, compassionate care and people who will answer all of your questions. But, keep on asking at the hospital. It is the family’s right to know.
Here at virtual hospice, we can offer you people who will listen compassionately and reach out to help you on your path.
Best regards.
